City of San Jose Requests Bids - Airport and Police Hangar Relocations
The City of San José intends to solicit proposals for the Mineta San José International Airport Facilities Division Relocation and the Police Department Air Support Unit Hangar Relocation. A non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held on November 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Mineta San José International Airport.

Make Sure Apprentices Record Their Hours
As required by DIR regulations, Apprentices must submit proof of their “on the job” hours and work experience. As part of their orientation, the Apprentices were given information about a website to be used to submit their hours, which can be accessed from any internet-capable device. Be sure to remind your Apprentices that they need to be reporting these hours onto the website in order for the hours to count. A copy of the Apprenticeship Rules and Regulations can be found here.
Young Professionals Network - Focusing on the Future
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) connects emerging leaders and future owners in the painting industry to network and learn from each other at fun-focused events like the recent day of sporting clay shooting in Sonoma.
Jessica Burkard, current co-chair of the YPN, shares her thoughts on the future and what she will be focused on as she eventually leads her own company.
