Successor Painters Master Agreement Ratified

The 2026-2030 DC16 NCPFC Painters Master Agreement was ratified by the DC16 union membership today, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The union members voted to approve the proposed agreement.

The new terms of the Agreement officially take effect on July 1, 2026. However, monetary increases take effect January 1, 2027, which include wages, and parking allowance. A rough draft, redlined copy outlining the changes in the Agreement will be posted here on the NCPFC website once it becomes available. A few of the major changes in the ratified Agreement include:

  • A 4-year Agreement with annual raises of $4.00, $4.00, $4.50, and $4.50 for Commercial Painters.
  • Industrial painters receive the same increase as the Commercial painters, in addition to a $3.75 premium (which is a dollar more an hour than the prior agreement) each year over the 4-year Agreement.
  • Bridge painters receive the same increase as the Commercial painters, in addition to a $5.75 premium  (which is a dollar more an hour than the prior agreement) each year over the 4-year Agreement.
  • Parking allowance increased to $40 per day.
