Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination for this year's Stepping Up Awards. Nominations closed Friday, August 28th, and we're excited to celebrate the painter who goes above and beyond for their crews, their clients, and their craft.
Contractors may nominate their top union painter (one per employer) who:
- Goes “above and beyond” their normal duties
- Demonstrates exemplary leadership
- Possesses strong work ethic, safety record, performance, and client relations
The honored employee will be awarded:
- A gift card prize
- A Carhartt workwear
- A chance to win cash prizes at the awards ceremony (nominees must be present to win cash prizes)
This year, both painters and glaziers will celebrate the two industries' top employees at a joint celebration! All nominees and their immediate families are invited to spend the day with us at the Chabot Space & Science Center on Saturday, October 17. Lunch will be provided, and attendees must be present to win raffle prizes.
